Dawn's Early Light Tall Grass in Brown by Shirl Ireland for Studio E 43-44 inches wide 100% Cotton Quilting Fabric SE-9052-35

Step into the hushed beauty of the woodland with Dawn’s Early Light by Shirl Ireland for Studio E Fabrics, a breathtaking collection that brings the serenity and artistry of nature to fabric.

At the heart of the collection is a stunning panel adapted from Shirl Ireland’s original painting, depicting graceful deer gathered at a quiet woodland stream. Rich with atmosphere and natural detail, the scene captures that magical moment when morning light begins to awaken the forest, creating a peaceful focal point filled with warmth, depth, and timeless beauty.

The coordinating prints beautifully echo the color, texture, and expressive movement of the original brushstrokes, allowing the collection to retain its distinctly painterly quality from one fabric to the next. Layered woodland elements and nature-inspired details make it especially lovely for creating quilts with dimension and an authentic landscape feel.

Perfect for scenic quilts, panel quilts, wall hangings, lodge and cabin décor, pillows, throws, bags, and gifts for nature lovers, Dawn’s Early Light provides a wonderful palette for projects inspired by the quiet grandeur of the outdoors. Frame the panel with coordinating fabrics for a striking centerpiece or combine the prints throughout a landscape quilt to create your own peaceful woodland retreat.
Perfect For: Panel quilts, landscape quilts, wall hangings, cabin décor, pillows, throws, bags, and handmade gifts

Dawn’s Early Light is more than a nature-inspired fabric collection. It is a beautifully rendered moment of stillness, where deer gather beside tranquil waters, the forest awakens in the soft morning light, and the artistry of the original painting flows gracefully through every coordinating print.

For quilters who love wildlife, woodland landscapes, and the peaceful beauty of nature, Dawn’s Early Light by Shirl Ireland offers an elegant canvas for creating something truly special.

I preserved the beautiful story in your original text while giving it a more luxurious, gallery-inspired tone, with particular emphasis on the original painted panel, deer at the woodland stream, painterly brushwork, and landscape-quilting possibilities.

Combine these prints with other fabrics from "Studio E" to craft stunning projects.

Multiple yards will be cut in a continuous piece.
