Return Policy
Final Sale Policy – Sale Items
- Sale items are considered final sale — no returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted.
- Sale pricing is valid only while supplies last. No rainchecks will be issued.
- Final sale status will be clearly marked on applicable products.
Return Policy
It is our goal to fulfill each order accurately for our customers. If you have a concern with your order, please bring it to our attention immediately. US Fabric Shop offers a 14-day return window, beginning from the date of delivery as posted by the shipping company. Any requests received after the 14-day window will not be granted.
How Fabric is Prepared and Cut
- We cut our fabric continuously; multiple quantities and sizes will be cut as one continuous length, even if ordered as separate line items.
- The majority of our fabric is cotton print, sold by the yard. Printed fabrics with linear designs may not align perfectly to the weave; this is due to how manufacturers prepare and roll bolts. Refunds or exchanges will not be provided for this reason.
- Fabric is cut straight according to how the manufacturer folds and rolls it. This may not align symmetrically with the design. For directional fabrics, we recommend purchasing extra yardage.
- For fabric panels, we strive to cut multiple quantities as continuous cuts. However, we reserve the right to ship panels as individual cuts if needed.
- Some panels have clear cut lines, while continuous scene or “running panels” are cut like yardage. Additional panels may be needed to complete your project.
- Ordering less than 1 yard? Smaller cuts are priced higher due to the same labor required as cutting full yardage.
Returns
- If you do not like what you have ordered and would like to return your items, contact us within 14 days.
- The return window is 14 days from delivery date (per shipping company). US Fabric Shop must be notified within that window and before items are shipped back.
- Fabric must be in new, unwashed, uncut, odorless, not ironed, and unaltered condition. It is subject to inspection. If altered in any way, the refund will be void.
- We will confirm your order has arrived and notify you of approval or rejection after inspection.
- Buyer is responsible for shipping costs. Only the fabric cost is eligible for refund.
- Kits, Projects, and Patterns are final sale and not eligible for return.
- Cut fabric purchased in-store is final sale and not eligible for refund or exchange.
Order Errors
- If your order was inaccurate or defective, please provide pictures via email so we can correct the issue quickly.
- You must notify the shop within 14 days of delivery for inaccurate orders.
- We do not provide exchanges unless the product is inaccurate, damaged, or defective.
- If we missed a flaw, forgot an item, shipped an inaccurate cut, or wrong item, we will resolve with either a replacement or refund.
Gift Returns
- If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of the return.
- If the gift was shipped to the giver first, the refund will go to the purchaser.
Ship Your Return
- We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items. Since the shipper is responsible for loss, please use a trackable service.
- Consider purchasing additional insurance for high-value items.

Once a Refund Has Been Approved
- Approved refunds will be issued back to your original payment method (or as gift credit for gift returns).
- It may take time for banks or card companies to post the refund. Check your statements or contact your institution.
- Online checking or debit transactions may take longer than credit cards to reflect refunds. Please reach out to your bank if delayed.
- If you do not see the refund after 5 business days, please notify US Fabric Shop via our Contact Us page.
