The Night and Day set features a versatile Purse and a reversible Mini Tote designed for both style and function. The Purse includes one slip pocket and two zippered compartments to keep your essentials organized and easy to reach. Carry it over the shoulder or crossbody using the adjustable, detachable strap—or remove the strap and use it as a chic clutch. The Purse can also be placed inside the Tote to serve as an organizer. The Mini Tote showcases sturdy handles, a tie closure, and a reversible design—offering two stylish looks: a quilted side or a smooth, non-quilted side with a welt pocket. The Purse strap can even be attached to the Tote’s rings for added versatility.

Class Information:
The Night and Day project makes an excellent class for sewists of all levels, from beginners to advanced makers. Recommended schedule: three half-day sessions or two full-day sessions.

Day 1 (or Class 1): Begin making the Purse (Steps II–IV-E, pages 3–7) — prepare components such as straps, tabs, and flap, and begin assembly.

Day 2 (or Class 2): Complete the Purse (Steps III-F and G, pages 7–9).

Day 3 (or Class 3): Create the Mini Tote (Steps II–5, pages 10–15).
Students should review the pattern, watch the Add-on Videos, and complete all Cut and Quilt steps (Step I) for both the Purse (page 2) and Mini Tote (page 10) before class.
